The treescapes are really portraits of trees, just as the animal photographs are actually portraits of animal nature in all its innocence. My digital "light" photographs study the energy of light as a taste of the Infinite. The abstract nature photographs observe nature in its most basic form and thus suggest the work of the Divine. Both the photographs and paintings pay homage to the exquisite beauty of the Hudson Valley of upstate New York. They illustrate how it affected me artistically, sensually and spiritually, while paying tribute to its Creator.
